Reverse (standard EU side) β€” features the numeral “2 EURO” with the EU map and 12 stars.


About Grand Duke Henri

Henri (born 1955) has been the reigning Grand Duke of Luxembourg since 2000. He appears on all Luxembourg euro coins, with the portrait updated periodically to reflect his age.


Mint

Luxembourg has no mint of its own. Its euro coins are struck at the Monnaie de Paris (Pessac, France) or the Royal Dutch Mint (Utrecht, Netherlands), depending on the year.
