Reverse (standard EU side) β€” features the numeral “2 EURO” with the EU map and 12 stars.


Historical significance

This is Estonia’s first euro coin β€” Estonia adopted the euro on 1 January 2011, replacing the Estonian kroon. The year 2011 on this coin marks that historic transition.
