
Obverseย โ features the Czech lion, a double-tailed lion with a crown, located on the central brass-plated disc. Surrounding it on the copper-plated ring is the inscription “ฤESKร REPUBLIKA”, the denomination “50 Kฤ”, and the year of mintage “2020”. Above the year, the “b” crowned monogram of the Czech Mint is visible.
Reverse (Image 4) โ displays a beautiful group of buildings typical of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The design includes the Charles Bridge in the foreground and the silhouette of Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral in the background. The outer copper ring bears the Latin inscription “PRAGA MATER URBIUM” (Prague, the Mother of Cities).
The designer The coin was designed by the renowned Czech sculptor and medalist Ladislav Kozรกk. His initials (a stylized “LK”) are subtly placed on the reverse side.
Where it was minted The coin was struck at the ฤeskรก mincovna (Czech Mint) in Jablonec nad Nisou.

It is a bimetallic coin, famous for its unique three-dimensional appearance and high-quality design.
